Oh, PS!

I'm STILL trying to figure out how to put pictures in posts, every time I try I get those little blue boxes with the question marks inside. Anyone out there able to help me?

You can do them with straight HTML if you upload them to Photobucket first - that's what I tend to do.

Get them on PB, then copy the image link, then put it in the entry where you want it like this (minus the spaces, obvi):

< img src = " LINK HERE " >

Easy peasy :)

Hey :)! For my blogspot account I do two different things for pictures. If I'm only putting one or two up, I'll use the add picture icon that comes up on the compose message screen and upload them from my computer - slower for lots of pics, but okay for just a few. If I'm doing more I upload them onto Picasa (you'll have access to that site already since you have a gmail account) and then I use the same add picture wizard thing but just use the add picture function that uses a web address. Sometimes when I try to add pictures just using HTML like on LJ it doesn't work so I've decided to just avoid that. I think for it to always work on blogspot you have to switch from the normal compose window to the HTML-based one, but then you have to add code for changing paragraphs, etc. and I'm too lazy.

Alternatively, just post pictures on Facebook like you have and then post a link to them. At the bottom of every photo gallery there are links - one of them lets you have anyone (even non-Facebook users) check out the pictures without being able to access accounts, etc.
